Learning Through Play- Sophomore Design Research Studio

Objective: Research, prototype, and redesign a broadly defined tool for connection—a physical or digital object that fosters relationships between humans. Your tool may take many forms. The project’s goal is to cultivate meaningful connections within and beyond our community partners (The IRC), aligning with your personal design trajectory. Through this process, you will evaluate existing tools, experiment with diverse media and materials, research, and consider the ethical, social, and cultural dimensions of humanitarian design to create responsible and inclusive interactions.
